Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy

Effective date: 6 August 2026

At Jersey Mart, every custom jersey, uniform and teamwear order is created specifically for the customer using the approved design, colours, logos, names, numbers and sizes. Please review this policy before placing or approving an order.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major problem, you may choose a replacement or refund. If a problem is minor, Jersey Mart may choose to repair, correct or replace the affected product within a reasonable time. We are entitled to assess a product before providing a remedy.

Custom and personalised products

Because our products are made to order, we do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds merely because a customer:

  • Changes their mind

  • Selects an incorrect size

  • No longer needs the order

  • Finds a cheaper alternative

  • Provides incorrect names, numbers, spelling, logos, colours or other order information

  • Approves a design containing an error that was visible in the final mockup

This change-of-mind position does not affect your rights where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Design approval

Customers must carefully check the final mockup, size breakdown and order details before providing written approval.

Approval confirms that the customer has reviewed and accepted:

  • Spelling and wording

  • Player names and numbers

  • Team and sponsor logos

  • Logo positioning

  • Garment colours

  • Garment style and quantity

  • Sizes and size quantities

Production may begin after final approval. Once production has commenced, customer-requested alterations may not be possible and may incur additional costs.

If Jersey Mart manufactures an item differently from the approved order, we will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Sizing

Customers are responsible for checking the Jersey Mart size chart and submitting the correct sizes before production.

Sizes can vary between brands, garment styles and suppliers. A size normally worn in another brand may not be the same as a Jersey Mart size.

An incorrectly selected size is not considered a product fault. However, if we supply a size different from the size ordered, or the garment materially differs from the applicable size specifications, please contact us so we can assess and resolve the issue.

Colours and minor variations

Colours displayed on phones, monitors and printed paper may vary from the finished sublimated fabric. Small differences may also occur between fabric types, production batches and lighting conditions.

Reasonable minor variations that do not materially change the approved design are not generally considered faults. If the finished product is materially different from the approved design or description, please contact us for assessment.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item:

  • Arrives damaged

  • Has a manufacturing or printing defect

  • Is materially different from the approved design or description

  • Is the wrong product or size due to an error by Jersey Mart

  • Is not of acceptable quality

  • Is not fit for a purpose made known to us before purchase

There is no fixed short reporting deadline that limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. However, contacting us promptly helps us investigate delivery damage and production issues quickly.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, failure to follow care instructions, misuse, incorrect washing, unauthorised alterations and damage caused during contact sport are not manufacturing faults unless the product otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

How to request a remedy

Contact Jersey Mart and provide:

  • Your name

  • Your order or invoice number

  • A description of the problem

  • Clear photographs or video showing the affected item

  • The player name, number or size identifying the affected garment, where applicable

  • Proof of purchase, if reasonably required

Please contact us before posting an item so we can provide the correct return instructions. Original packaging is not required for a faulty-product claim.

We may need to inspect the item or request additional information. Each affected item will be assessed against the approved order, product description and applicable consumer guarantees.

Return postage

Items that can be easily posted may need to be returned for assessment.

If the product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, Jersey Mart will reimburse reasonable return-postage costs. Please retain your postage receipt.

If an assessment finds that the product does not have a covered problem, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and any inspection or collection costs, provided a reasonable estimate was supplied beforehand where required.

Remedies and refunds

The available remedy depends on the nature and seriousness of the problem.

  • For a minor problem, Jersey Mart may repair, correct or replace the affected product within a reasonable time.

  • For a major problem, the customer may choose a replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

  • If only part of a team order is affected, we will assess the affected items and the order as a whole to determine the appropriate remedy without limiting any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless Jersey Mart and the customer agree to another method. Financial institutions may require additional processing time after a refund has been issued.

Order changes and cancellations

Contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel an order.

Before final design approval or production commencement, we will advise whether the requested change or cancellation can be accepted and whether any disclosed, reasonable costs already incurred apply.

After final approval or production commencement, custom orders generally cannot be cancelled or changed for change-of-mind reasons.

This does not restrict any rights relating to a failure by Jersey Mart to provide goods or services in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery issues

Customers must ensure that the delivery address supplied is complete and accurate.

Contact us promptly if tracking shows an order as lost, damaged or delivered to an incorrect location. We will work with the carrier and provide any remedy required by law.

Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer may be charged to the customer, unless the issue was caused by Jersey Mart or the delivery carrier.
